In the mid 1800's, when the Mosinee - Wausau area was being settled, the settlers arrived in the area by stagecoach. "Stage Stops" became well known for a comfortable bed and a good home-cooked meal. Today, weary travelers can find a warm atmosphere and a hearty home-cooked meal here at The Stage Stop Country Family Restaurant! From breakfast served all day to homemade soups, burgers, sandwiches, pasta, steaks, and seafood, we have something delicious to satisfy every appetite! The Stage Stop also offers baked goods fresh out of the kitchen and homemade chocolates!
